Jennifer and Sophia met 2 years ago at their local gym they still go to. They first became strictly gym friends but when Sophia learned that Jenn had a long career in cosplay photography she approached her about a personal cosplay project and after that Jen approached Sophia about helping with her social media which eventually led to becoming business partners and starting a photography studio together!
So they reorganized and remodeled Jenn’s crafting studio and transformed it into a proper photography studio with sets for both humans and pets. After working together for a couple of months they agreed their work styles are very much “organized chaos” and when they decided their original name needed a rebranding “Unhinged Photography” was born.
Jenn and Sophia value finding the art in the individual by bringing to life ideas that most people would think impossible and make it happen.

Sophia Godfrey
Hi! I’m Sophia and I’ve lived in The Woodlands, Tx for 17 years. I have my M.A. in communication and currently provide social media management for multiple local businesses.
Helping create a photography studio was never a dream I had but has become an unexpected passion. What sets our studio apart is that we have a “yes AND” approach to ideas vs a “Yes BUT”. No idea is too big or too small. No matter what you’re looking for we’ll take it up a couple of notches to something you didn’t even think was possible.
If Jen is the ying I am the yang - we balance each other out by still complimenting our outlandish and downright chaotic ideas.
